Spend much time in nature. There are more spirits and angels in nature caring for the plant life and flowers. God is present in nature , for the trees, grass, flowers, birds, and wildlife were created by God and speak of him. A city is a polluted jungle created by men.
Go into nature and soak up God and the ministering Spirits that serve him, the spirits that serve nature, and the Angels that serve us. Get a rosary or prayer beads and sing, chant, or make invocations on the beads. The beads are simply to help you concentrate. There is no power in them but they help me a lot with concentration during prayers.
If you are Christian, remember there is power in the name and blood of Jesus, so invoke them often. They are an infinite source of grace that you can use or channel. As an heir to the throne you have much authority, for the God who created Heaven and earth lives within you. Earth was created with words, and many of the miracles in Scripture were worked with words that brought down grace from Heaven to earth. Do not underestimate the power of words empowered by faith and spoken with authority to transmit God's grace.
Still the mind, sit up straight, and breath deeply. Focus on the breath to clear and silence the mind so that insight and positive energy can flow. The mind must be still to hear the still small voice of God. Each day continue working on keeping the mind still, and inspiration, wisdom, enlightenment, and the movements of the spirit of God shall grow, become more detectable, and transform you.
Invoke the Angels and Archangels, especially Raphael, Gabriel, Michael, and Azrael.
Find an inner peace that is ever dependant on fleeting external circumstances.
Do not get upset at distractions, as this anger and frusteration only makes it worse. When your meditation brings you peace and interior silence, you are doing the right thing, don't overanalyze or question. A repetitive Mantra is important for silencing the mind. When our Lord condemned repetitious prayer He was speaking of VAIN repetition. Not all repetition is vain as Scripture speaks of the Angels reciting the same prayer over and over again night and day in Heaven.
